About the Author

Dr. Mohsin Rashid is a paediatric gastroenterologist and an Associate Professor of Paediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Dr. Rashid's clinical and research interest is in celiac disease. He is a member of the national Professional Advisory Board of the Canadian Celiac Association (www.celiac.ca) and Medical Advisor to the Halifax chapter of the Association. He is also the Founder of the Pakistani Celiac Society (www.celiac.com.pk). His research focus has been on developing educational strategies to improve knowledge and awareness of celiac disease both in the health profession and the public.
